Weather conditions:

The study period was very short to evaluate weather. Temperatures varied from +0.3øC to +9.4øC, on average +5-6øC. 5 from 12 days were sunny, 2 - with small rain, 2 - with fogs. Weak northerly winds prevailed.

Breeding conditions:

Severe environmental conditions (mean July temperature +2øC), sparse vegetation and low humidity were responsible for low abundance and diversity of birds. Snow Bunting was the only common bird species. No signs of breeding were observed.
